Looking Beyond Beige

As AI becomes embodied — moving into robots, warehouses, and everyday environments — the risk isn’t dystopia. It’s sameness. I call that the “beige future”: optimized, repeatable, and forgettable. I’m interested in something else — intelligent systems that carry texture, emotional depth, and a real sense of shared presence.

Storytelling has shaped how we imagine intelligent machines for decades — long before warehouses and AI labs, there was Robby the Robot from Forbidden Planet.

That same lens shapes my recent work.

It’s led me into IMAX-scale, music-forward immersive environments and AI-driven systems — and to rethink rigid digital templates when they constrain the experience. I’m comfortable in technical rooms, but I’m always asking the same question: beyond function, what kind of presence are we designing?

In early 2022—before most people even noticed the trend—I saw AI’s potential to revolutionize creativity and storytelling. While others were asking, “Are you really into that IA thing?” (yes, they got the letters backwards!), I was busy earning 4 certifications, completing 60+ hours of hands-on learning, and mastering tools like MidJourney, ChatGPT, and Ideogram.

For over 20 years, I’ve been creating bold, breakthrough campaigns that stand out. As an award-winning advertising creative director, I’ve worked with iconic brands like BMW, Virgin Atlantic, and NetJets to bring their stories to life in elegant and innovative ways. At the same time, I’ve helped leaders in healthcare like AbbVie and Sanofi create experiences that truly connect healthcare professionals and patients.

Now, I bring the best of both worlds together with AI & I—a creative approach that blends the art of storytelling with the science of AI. The result? Strategic, high-impact creative that makes waves across digital and traditional channels.
